About
I firmly believe that not too soon from now, manufacturing and hardware infrastructure will prevail to advance the human condition. The world is already moving into a manufacturing takeover, with limited natural resources and efficiency bottlenecks compounding on one another. Form factors of internal device components continue to shrink to the nanoscale in spirit of the dying Moore's Law, but humanity realizes minimal gains from this due to a lack of materials optimization and scalability. The most profound example of our substandard manufacturing state of the art is the renewable energy harvesting/storage challenge. I am completely certain that these technological concerns are relevant to all of humanity, thus I am motivated to be one of many who address them. This is why I decided to become a materials scientist.
